PROJECT OVERVIEW
CLIENT NEEDS
This client approached us with the goal of developing a tailored business plan that would support the growth of their hospitality business. Their main objective was to increase takings within a specific timeframe, and they needed a plan that could evolve with their ideas while remaining grounded in financial reality.
PROBLEMS TO SOLVE
As with any custom business plan, flexibility was key. The client brought a steady stream of new ideas to the table—many of which were creative and viable, but occasionally contradicted earlier decisions. The challenge was to create a coherent plan that could accommodate their evolving vision without becoming disjointed or unfocused. At the same time, the client needed clarity on how and when their investments would start to pay off.
APPROACH
We structured the business plan around a strong financial core, incorporating a Break-Even Point (B.E.P.) analysis to help them visualise how long it would take for increased takings to offset costs. We spent time walking the client through each section, adapting it to reflect their most current ideas while also guiding them through which options made the most sense long-term. Our process allowed us to refine the strategy as their concept developed, ensuring the final plan reflected a clear, practical roadmap.
CHALLENGES | ![]() | One of the more complex aspects of this project was managing the evolving concept. Each week, new ideas came forward—some brilliant, some that would pull the business in too many directions. We had to keep revisiting earlier drafts and fine-tune them to reflect these changes, which required a high level of adaptability and clear communication. |

SOLUTIONS | ![]() | We implemented a modular approach to the business plan, allowing certain sections to remain fluid while keeping the financial structure and long-term goals consistent. The inclusion of the B.E.P. was a particularly valuable addition, as it gave the client a tangible way to track progress and adjust expectations. We also acted as a sounding board, helping filter and prioritise ideas in a way that maintained momentum without losing focus. |
LOOK BACK | ![]() | In the end, they walked away with a comprehensive business plan that not only captured their evolving vision but also gave them the financial clarity they needed. The plan’s strength and detail helped them secure their ideal premises—impressively, the landlord, who had initially requested a £5,000 deposit, agreed to rent them the property with no deposit at all. It was a real testament to the credibility and confidence the plan inspired. |
DELIVERABLE
TESTIMONIALS
I can write a good business plan but with working full time I was struggling for time. These boys wrote me an amazing business plan and then went over the financials at a convenient time for me. If you have a business idea but just can't find the time to get the ball moving, give these guys a call. Defo recommended!
